Okra Soya Ice Latte

[Okra = Ladyfinger = Bhindi (Indian cuisine) = Gumbo (Caribbean) (from Bantu - kingombo)]

Ingredients:

    • Okra - 8 pods - boiled quickly (~1min) and seeds removed

    • Soya Milk - 300ml (cold is good)

    • Maple Syrup - 2 tablespoons (30ml)

Method:

    1. Put all the ingredients into a blender/food processor and blend until smooth.

    2. (Serve garnished with a slice or two of okra)

Notes:

    • It has a flavour that resembles 'matcha' (Japanese powder green tea).

    • Keep aside a few thin slices of okra to serve on top.
